Serena Hanzhi Wang

Serena Hanzhi Wang (b. 2000) is a writer and curator based in New York City. She studied Visual & Critical Studies at the School of Visual Arts, with a focus on contemporary art, philosophy, and critical theory. Her writing moves between art criticism, reviews, and essays, with recurring interests in desire, technology, and subjectivity. Her work has appeared in Whitehot Magazine, Cultbytes, Civil Art Publishing, Aint-Bad, and other publications. As a curator, she has organized exhibitions and programs in New York, Beijing, and elsewhere, working across contemporary art, moving image, and experimental practices. She has collaborated with organizations including Millennium Film Workshop, Accent Sisters, and Tianjin Art Museum. She is a recipient of the National Land Art Proposal Competition, hosted by the Museum of Outdoor Arts.
